Flash vs HTML

In July 2000, a dude called Dack Ragus answered the perennial question of Flash vs HTML when he conducted a usability test that compared Flash and HTML versions of Tiffany.com.

You can read a detailed 5-page usability report at Dack’s personal weblog.

Factor in advances in Flash and HTML in the eight years that have passed since Dack conducted his usability test and ask yourself; do the conclusions of Dack’s report still hold true?

In my book, it’s irrevocably a ‘Yes’.
