Held from 2-5 September 2008 at the Royal Tropical Institute Conference Center in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, MobileHCI 2008 is the 10th International Conference on Human-Computer Interaction with Mobile Devices and Services.

MobileHCI provides “a forum for academics and practitioners to discuss the challenges, potential solutions and innovations towards effective interaction with mobile systems and services. It covers the analysis, design, evaluation and application of human-computer interaction techniques and approaches for all mobile computing devices, software and services.”

In simple English, if you want to find more about how people are going to be using mobile technology, in the very near future, you should get your boss to sort out your flight and accommodation, the first thing tomorrow morning.

Considering that the future of mobile is back on track, especially concerning mobile web design, I wouldn’t even rule out sending an SMS just right about now.
