I remember seeing this picture in a book in the officer’s mess at an army camp in Johor, almost 15 years ago.
It was taken by a photojournalist called Larry Burrows during the Vietnam War and published in LIFE magazine in the Sixties.
It got me wondering, again; what’s the story behind this picture? Who are the guys who are in it? Are they still alive?
